The golden Dorado is known as a pescavore which means that its primary diet is other fish.

The average size of the golden Dorado is about 6-25 pounds, but the largest recorded size is 68 pounds. In Salto Grande you may expect to find yourself fighting a Dorado of over 40 pounds.
