Water levels continue to be fishable in the very upper State of Roraima at very few of River Plate's low fishing pressure areas at the remote headwaters of the Tapera, and ,as of this week, the Xeurini, and Shufaris. The exclusive Homero lagoons will be rested until next season
Therefore all next week parties must come. Water levels have dropped from 5 to 8 feet over-the-jungle line during the last few weeks to fishable levels of 1 to 2 feet.
If it continues not to rain as forecasted by the weather officials fishing will be superb; however, guests must know upfront that substantial rain could jeopardize the good trend.
Yacht anglers must know that Black Water Explorer yacht will anchor on a deep channel on the Rio Branco where there are many "no-see thems" (small bitting insects).
