Mid-Week Fishing Report: Feb 08 – 10, 2020 (2 ½ days)

Week end´s tally (2 ½ days):
Note: this 2 1/2 days report is to rush last weekend’s conditions to our incoming anglers.
Xeruini in Dry-Zone N. East –: Last weekend we received the Siqueira group of 8 anglers who enjoyed great weather conditions and had a good start landing over 220 peacock bass. River is dropping and fishing conditions are expected to be good in the coming days. Jufaris in Dry-Zone N. East -: The Parcels group of 6 fished in the Upper part of this fishery, exceeding the 200 peacock bass. Excellent fishing conditions during the weekend and forecast for the coming days without any significant rain episodes (pls. see below). Great top water action. Itapará in Dry-Zone N. East -: Last week the Scherzer group had an outstanding performance exceeding the 1000 landed peacock bass, with 18 trophies above the 17lbs. mark., largest weighing 20,5 lbs. . This week we are hosting the Lewis group of 8, including their spouses. They are enjoying perfect fishing conditions and the fantastic jungle experience and wildlife in this secluded and privileged area. Water levels keep dropping, fishing conditions for the coming days are expected to be excellent (pls. see forecast below). Mid water lures are working best for this fishery. Omero in Dry-Zone N. East –: Last weekend we received the Spinelli group of 6 anglers who enjoyed great weather conditions and had a good start landing over 150 peacock bass. River is a bit below the optimum and dropping. Fishing conditions are expected to be good in the coming days in the area.

Mid-Week Fishing Report: Feb 01 – 03, 2020 (2 ½ days)
FEBRUARY BEGINS WITH PERFECT FISHING CONDITIONS …
Week end´s tally (2 ½ days):
Note: this 2 1/2 days report is to rush last weekend’s conditions to our incoming anglers.
Xeruini in Dry-Zone N. East –: Last weekend two groups ( Hamlin and Best) landed over 450 peacock bass, largest trophy caught and released weighed 22 lbs. Water levels are almost at jungle level and weather has been perfect and fishing conditions are expected to continue during the rest of the week (pls. see below). Several fly-fishermen in these groups. Jufaris in Dry-Zone N. East -: The Agarwal group of 6 fished in the Upper part of this fishery, with an excellent size mix within a basket exceeding the 200 peacock bass. Excellent fishing conditions during the weekend and forecast for the coming days without any significant rain episodes (pls. see below). Great top water action. Itapará in Dry-Zone N. East -: Host reports 2 trophies above the 19lbs. and tally exceeding the 300 landed peacock bass mark. Water levels are almost at their optimum and dropping, fishing conditions for the coming days are expected to be excellent (pls. see forecast below). Mid water lures are working best for this fishery.

Mid-Week Fishing Report: Jan 25 – 27, 2020 (2 ½ days)
Now fishing at our Itapará, Xeruini and Jufaris private fisheries
Week end´s tally (2 ½ days):
Note: this 2 1/2 days report is to rush last weekend’s conditions to our incoming anglers.
Xeruini in Dry-Zone N. East –: Last weekend two groups ( Killingsworth and Smith) landed over 300 peacock bass, the upper part of the river is performing better than the lower part at this moment. Water level tendency is to drop and although a bit high fishery is very fishable. No siginficant rain in the coming days. Fishing conditions are improving daily. Jufaris in Dry-Zone N. East -: Last Thursday we received the Lawson group at our camp V in the Upper part of the river and the Schmidt group on Saturday at our camp IV at the mid river, both of 6 anglers. Both groups had a great start landing over 350 peacock bass during the weekend in a nice size mix. Forecast showing no rain and water levels a bit high and dropping, next days are expected to present good fishing conditions. Itapará in Dry-Zone N. East -: Last week the Reichenau group of 6 landing over 170 peacock bass, largest of which weighed 18lbs. Water levels on this fishery keep dropping towards their optimum level and are very fishable. Fishing conditions for the next days according to the forecasts are excellent (pls. see below).

The Xeruini and Jufaris rivers still present water levels a bit above the optimum, but very fishable, dropping tendency is firm, please see forecast below for Barcelos and Caracarai. The Upper parts of the rivers are leading the tendency. The Itapará river is dropping and very fishable, it is expected to reach optimum levels in the coming days, please see forecast below for Rorainopolis and Caracarai.
